Our Background and Motivation
Members of our staff have a wide variety of backgrounds with many having worked directly for companies just like yours. We are now on the other side of the "fence" supplying consulting services to our clients. Our previous experiences from the other side of the "fence" helps us bridge any gaps in our client's own experience especially when our client is evaluating software from a vendor knowing the vendor's only interest is in a sale. We also know what it's like to deal with consulting firms who are only concerned in managing staff utilization, which has nothing to do with client satisfaction.
We believe the secret to our success is to gather individuals with like-kind motivation. This gathering doesn't just include our own staff but our clients too. If a prospective client is looking for someone to make a promise and offer a cheap price without making a real commitment to participate themselves in the engagement, then they are not going to be a good partner for us and they have likely set poor expectations for themselves.
In the end it will be you using your new system to run your business and reach your goals. In our numerous years of experience we have found that in cases where clients do not actively participate in the implementation process, the implementation will likely be over budget or unsuccessful - leaving the client and us dissatisfied and frustrated. When we come across potential clients of this type, we ask them to find another vendor or consulant because we don't know how to make you happy and successful without your participation.

Why do we take such a stand? Because we take what we do personally. We love what we do and our very proud of how we go about our business. We get to impact different businesses daily so we want to be your business advocate. We will work with you to understand the nuances of your business and your business goals. Then and only then will we help you find the right solution. And the right software solution may not always be what we currenlty offer, but we'll also be the first to tell you. To maintain our longevity we need you as a happy client.

We review software systems regularly in our market segment (Small to Medium Enterprises), even those we don't currently represent because as your advocate we need to know the best options available. Everything we evaluate is tested against our measurments (see our 'Why these vendors?' criteria under the Software Solutions menu). We very carefully add and eliminate those vendor's products from our portfolio of options as they perform against our criteria. We will not offer or endorse a product just because it's the biggest name in the industry or because it feels safe or because everyone is selling it...NEVER! It's about your business and you write the checks, we don't and we want to be your business advocate.
Because improvement requires change, if we're told you want a new process in your system BUT it needs to work just like the old one, we may have to tell you it's impossible, but we'll also tell you why. If you insist we will kindly tell you to save your money and keep your current system/process. What software vendor would ever tell you that when they can sell you more tools and custom coding?
Our experience tells us the most successful projects have participation of all the parties. To that end, we have developed a system to maintain a single collaberative implementation process shared by all the parties reducing miscommunication, lost documents, and missed or ill-timed steps in the project plan. Today we are all mobile and electronic, so why shouldn't our tools to manage a very important project like your business system implementation conform to today's methods of communication? We will not sell you a solution that does not fit. If it is not a good fit, we will tell you so and try to help you find one that will - even if we don't sell it. Will anyone else do that for you without charging you?
